When you consider the level of politics that has infiltrated our lives over the past several months, Election Day is nearly here, and the race is nearly run. Which our panel interpreted as “Man, after all this, I need a beer.” We found two really delicious examples of Stout, and then someone brought up clowns, and we cringed our way through the tasting.
So, enjoy this edition of Northwest Beer Night as we taste two beers, offer our first impressions, then play a game to better describe these great brews. And we do it all from the confines of “The Factory Luxe” at the Old Rainier Brewery, a piece of local brewing history! Don’t forget to include our hashtags when you tweet about @NWBeerNight: #BeerNight #Stout #TapLocal #DarkAsAClownsSoul.
This Episode’s Category: Stout
Remember, this is a blind tasting. We only identify the brews as “Beer Green” and “Beer Blue.” Once the panel tastes the beer and picks a favorite, we reveal what they’re drinking.
If you want to be surprised, stop reading here. Come back after the show to find out the names and makers of the beers. Again, if you keep reading, you’re going to see this information.
