Northwest Bar Night – “Unicorns & Long Magical Horns” (ep 09)

When the gang at the bar discover a certain factoid about Scotland, this tasting of Scotch Ale gets a lot more interesting!  We’ll give you a hint; it has something to do with unicorns.  You may debate whether these creatures are real or not, but we had a fun time until the bartender kicked us out.

Enjoy this edition of Northwest Bar Night as we taste two products, offer our first impressions, then play a game to better describe these great beverages.  And we do it all from the confines of “The Factory Luxe” at the Old Rainier Brewery, a piece of local brewing history!  Don’t forget to include our hashtags when you tweet about @NWBarNight:  #BarNight  #DrinkLocal  #Beer  #ScotchAle  #I’dLikeToRideThat

This Episode’s Category:  Scotch Ale

Remember, this is a blind tasting.  We only identify the drinks as “Green” and “Blue.”  Once the panel tastes the drinks and picks a favorite, we reveal what they’re drinking.
